Meet’n Read features author Karen Logan’s new book “Savannah’s First Sleepover” July 18

THE WOODLANDS, TX – July 14, 2014 – Author Karen Logan will be making an appearance at The Woodlands Children’s Museum for the next “Meet’n Read” event.

Logan will be reading her new book, “Savannah’s First Sleepover,” twice on Friday, July 18 – at 11 a.m. and noon.

The book is the first in a series Logan wrote about sleepovers.

“Every parent will relate to the insecurities – and also fun times — to be had during first sleepovers,” Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said.

Logan is not only a children’s author but also a home-schooling mommy to her four daughters.

She is the founder and owner of, an online resource for mothers in The Woodlands.

“This is a great opportunity to meet Karen and get her to autograph a copy of the book,” Colton said. “It’s also a great opportunity to share a story with your children and help them get excited about reading.”
The Meet’n Read is included in the price of admission, which is $5 for children 2 years and older.

Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, the museum offers educational exhibits, a full calendar of exciting activities and a cool space for creative play.
