The South Montgomery County YMCA is launching Pickleball Lessons starting the week of Sept. 24th. Come see what is the big “Dill”!

Pickleball is a relatively new racquet sport and is played on a short court with a lower net. Pickleball is a combination of badminton, tennis and ping-pong. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles.It is popular with the active older adults but can be played by all ages and all abilities. You don’t have to be a tennis player to learn. It is fun and easy to learn!
Pickleball lessons will be offered on Mondays at 12:30pm, Mondays at 3:00pm or Thursdays at 12:30pm. The first session will end Nov. 1 st. Free play will be available to those that are registered for the lessons on Mondays, 1:45 – 2:45pm.
