Cooper Interact Club Supports Regional

Blood Center With On Campus Blood Drives

THE WOODLANDS – The John Cooper School Interact Club held the first of two blood drives of the school year, in conjunction with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, on Wednesday, September 25. The student co-chairs set a goal of 30 donations for the drive, and were pleased with the success of their efforts. Of the 39 people signed up to donate, 31 were eligible to give, resulting in 35 products collected. “This helps save up to 105 lives,” said Katie Martinez, recruitment coordinator for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Martinez thanked Cooper’s Interact Club for their continued support and help in saving and sustaining lives in our community. The next John Cooper Interact Club Blood Drive is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
