Children’s Museum of Houston FUTUREVET® “WOOF-SHOPS”

Children’s Museum of Houston shows you the truths, tricks and “tails” of pet ownership, care and medicine with interactive workshops

July 11 & 12

Sponsored by Banfield Pet Hospital

WHAT:                  What does it en-“tail” to be a responsible pet owner?  Do you have what it takes to be a vet?  The Children’s Museum of Houston has joined the FutureVet® pack to bring you a series of interactive workshops that will unleash the joys of being a pet owner but also teach about the responsibilities that come with being one.  “Woof-shops” will take place on July 11 and 12 during the Children’s Museum of Houston’s Summer of Epic Adventure – The Sequel.

This multi-part, tail wagging show-and-tell will also walk you through the basics of veterinary medicine, including:  meeting the vet, pets’ needs and pet examination.  You will even get a treat at the end of the presentation – your own “doggie” diploma and goodie bag!  Workshop is included with general admission and there’s no need to pre-register.

The FutureVet® program, created by Banfield Pet Hospital, makes it easy and fun for children and young adults to learn about pet healthcare and veterinary medicine. Banfield has become the largest pet general veterinary practice in the world, with more than 850-hospitals in neighborhoods across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  More than 2,900 veterinarians at Banfield are committed to giving pets the highest quality of veterinary care.
