Earth Week Effort Helps Improve the Lives of Local Kids and the Environment – Kidville The Woodlands and Second Chance Toys Team Up to Rescue and Recycle Plastic Toys

In an effort to make a meaningful difference emotionally and environmentally, Second Chance Toys (501c3 certified) and Kidville The Woodlands are teaming up during Earth Week to collect gently used plastic toys. These toys will be distributed to an organization in our area that serves disadvantaged children.

Second Chance Toys provides a waste-need solution to these problems. Unwanted plastic toys, that are still useable, are rescued and recycled through organizations as part of the expanding Second Chance Toys network of partners, seeking to bring some happiness to children in need, while making a contribution to the environment. “At Kidville, we strongly believe in the power of play for all children.” stated Karen Roberts, “Many Kidvilles across the country have gotten involved with Second Chance Toys because it is a charitable cause that helps both children and the environment.”
